Corsican Gumbo

2022:

Corsican Gumbo. Well, well, well... slowly but surely, this new album will see the light of day. With my manager, Mark St John, we are debating which songs to bring to mastering. this will be done very shortly. And as I said before, whoever is a subscriber to my site, will receive the songs for free. So, watch this space for more. Corsican Gumbo is on its way!

There has been a problem.. gwyn who does our mastering has been ill for the last three months.

Not good! So sorry for him and because we are a team, we shall wait for him. We have to.

1982:

Demos:. Well, in 1982, after the electric chairs, i started to jam with Chris Musto and Val Haller, we decided to call ourselves the flying padovanis. Then came Paul Slack on bass. and that waas it. we needed to find a record company. so we went in the studio and cut 6 songs and made this 'demos' album. basically white label vinyl albums. i stumbled into a case of those, the other day.  so if you like the flying padovanis and want an original piece of history, that is the one.

Live in Fericy

2019:

Live in Fericy. But, what a great evening! All simple but full. And Pierre, who was doing the sound, had the great idea of recording it. The idea was simply to keep a memory of it and so, he just plugged on the back of the mixing desk a recorder. Something he had handy, an mp3.

But what a great idea! All simple but genius. Because not only we have a souvenir but because the good intentions are always the ones that count and with very simple ideas, put one after another, we build a lovely world.

I love today

2016 :

I love today. That  is the title of the my last solo album. It came out on september 2, 2016.

It was about time as well. I agree. But, we took the time a good album has to take.

It was recorded, all in analog, as we wanted it. We recorded 2 songs at 811 studios, in Horsham. Analog also, of course. Mark St John played drums, and engineered (!!), Dick Taylor played bass, Samuel Brothers electric guitar and i played acoustic and sung.  The other tracks were recorded at the Smoke House studios in london. The Smoke house is an analog studio that has just the right atmosphere for what we wanted to do.

pour la vie

2006

A croire que c'était pour la vie: 2006 sees Henry pick up his electric guitar again, start writing songs with his accomplice Jean Henri meunier, sing and record an album with producer Yves Aouizerate. Friends did join: Sting and Stewart Copeland on ' Welcome Home', Steve Hunter on ' Acheve ta haine', 'Ai juste toi' besoin de toi' and 'La terre tourne', Glen Matlock and Chris Musto on ' Ai juste besoin de toi' and Manu Katché on ' Parfois'.

The track ' Ici Najac' is the theme tune of Jean Henri Meunier 's movie  Jean Henri Meunier ' Ici Najac, à vous la terre'.

SOLD OUT

1982

The Flying Padovanis font l'enfer : on this album, they drive at 200 miles an hour, faster than Prost, Senna and mansell. Freaks, winners, that were giving the best of themselves, for their greatest pleasure and the one of everybody. The Flying Padovanis didn't do any concession: this is the album they wanted to do and, when Marc Zermati, in 198, proposed them to go into a studo, they invested it.Business was finished in 3 days: 2 days for recording and 1 for mixing. In fact this album is consituted from 2 sessions, the 1980 one for Marc Zermati and the 1983 for razor Records, in 1982.
